We spent four nights in a spacious deluxe king room and were continuously amazed by how close we were to stunning landmarks like the beautiful Bosahan Gardens just under 4 km away and the scenic Coverack Beach, making our city strolls truly memorable while having the convenience of a cozy pub atmosphere to return to each evening.

i recently stayed for 4 nights in helston, and my experience at the inn was absolutely delightful. the views of the beach from my deluxe king room were breathtaking, and the breakfast featuring fresh local ingredients was a treat. the warm, welcoming host exceeded my expectations and made for a perfect date night.

the room was a bit cold.

We had an amazing time with friends, enjoying hiking and snorkelling nearby. The host was fantastic, giving us a warm welcome and maintaining a clean and comfy room. Breakfasts were delicious. Plus, the views by the beach are simply unforgettable!

The twisty, narrow roads to get there were a bit tricky at first, but you get used to them over time.

We stayed here for 4 nights in a King Suite with Sea View and loved the cozy vibe and stunning view from our balcony! It was fantastic to unwind by the beautiful garden and relax with a drink on the terrace. The only hiccup was that the evening meal left something to be desired, but it didn't spoil our fun at all! 🌅

the heating in the room was inadequate.

The Deluxe King Room was super comfy and clean. The bed felt great after a long day, and the bathroom had this cool mirror with light, making getting ready a breeze. Pretty quiet at night too, which was a nice touch. We skipped housekeeping, but I didn’t mind since the room stayed tidy. Really liked the fresh and local breakfast vibe in the mornings also!

would definitely come back

the deluxe king room had a flat-screen TV, hairdryer, and an electric kettle. the private bathroom included a walk-in shower with quality shampoo and conditioner. views of the beach were stunning at sunset, and the linens were fresh. enjoyed delicious breakfasts with local ingredients. staff were exceptionally welcoming and helpful.

we had an amazin time at the five pilchards inn. breakfast was excellent, the local lady know what she's doin! the rooms were comfy n super clean, even tho we skip housekeeping. the location is perfect for explore around helston, and the cafe next too the beach is great for dinner. staff was so nice, really made us feel welcome.

only downside was the restaurant was closed, n it was a bit hard to find other dining options sometimes.

The Five Pilchards Inn features beautifully appointed rooms and welcoming common areas, ideal for seniors. The accessibility made our stay enjoyable, allowing us to relax and appreciate the stunning views of the beach right outside our window.

More accessible seating in common areas would help.

Amazing stay with a view!

We had a lovely 4-night getaway in the King Suite with Sea View. The room was super comfy, and the view was stunning. Louise from the staff was a gem, going out of her way to make sure we were fed, especially during the pizza weekend. Only thing was the restaurant was closed, but we didn't let that stop the fun!

Just an appropriate option for a city break in Helston with high value for money. The road to get there was twisty but added to the Cornish charm. Plan your visit during a less busy time for a more pleasant experience.

Perfect quiet getaway

We had a fab 4 nights! The King Suite with sea view was super comfy and clean. Louise, the manager, was amazing. she made sure we had food even tho the restaurant was closed. The pizza weekend was a nice surprise!

Great staff and comfortable room with flat-screen TV. Restaurant was closed during stay.
